The GTA 6 Release Date in Detail

Rockstar Games has confirmed November 19, 2026 as the worldwide launch date for Grand Theft Auto VI, and the date has been reiterated in Take-Two Interactive's investor communications. It is a simultaneous global release across both confirmed consoles — there is no staggered regional rollout announced.

Rockstar has moved GTA 6 before, so treat any date other than November 19, 2026 as speculation until the studio publishes it directly. We revise this page whenever an official statement changes.

Will GTA 6 Be on PC?

Not at launch, and not on any announced schedule. Rockstar has never listed PC among GTA 6's platforms. With GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2, the PC version arrived well over a year after the console release, which is why a 2027-or-later PC port is the common expectation — but it remains unconfirmed.

GTA 6 is a current-generation title. PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 have all gone unannounced, and nothing in Rockstar's materials suggests a last-gen build. Older-console listings you may see on resale sites are not official.
